A high proportion of the components required for the build of BiS products are machined at our own production facility in Dorset, consisting of extensive state of the art CNC machining and metrology equipment. This provides us with the ability to closely control the quality of the highly engineered, fine tolerance parts that are required to achieve the demands of the industries that we serve. Repeatable, capable manufacturing and assembly techniques are essential, and are even more critical when handling more exotic materials such as monel, inconel, hastelloy and titanium.
As well as manufacturing our own products, where product machining requirements match those of our capability, BIS are also able to quote for manufacture of your valve designs, including assembly and test if required.
Investment in production equipment continues with the recent addition of a third Nakamura multi axis Mill/Turn CNC machine, further adding to a portfolio of over a dozen CNC milling and turning machines.
At BiS, quality is of paramount importance and particular care is taken to ensure that the product is well finished as well as dimensionally correct. Verification of machined parts is performed using industry leading equipment such as Renishaw Equator, Axiom CMM and Taylor Hobson Roundness measurement.
Volume manufacture is complimented with a Small Batch/Prototype/Development facility with a range of manual and CNC machinery staffed by highly skilled machinists, allowing us to respond to short lead time demands.
