Manufacturing of BiS Valves products in mostly carried out in our own factory near Wimborne, Dorset, where we have extensive machining facilities devoted to close tolerance manufacture of stainless steel valve parts. In order to achieve high seat integrity levels required by the demanding applications that we serve in the offshore oil and gas industry. Sound manufacturing and assembly techniques are essential, and are even more critical when handling more exotic materials such as monel, inconel, hastelloy and titanium.
As well as manufacturing our own products, where product machining requirements match those of our capability, BiS are also able to quote for manufacture of your valve designs, including assembly and test if required.

BiS utilise CNC machine tools, including lathes and machining centres, one of our newest additions is a Star SV32J twin spindle, driven tooling, sliding head lathe which allows us to manufacture slender section parts that would be nearly impossible on a conventional machine.
For 2008, we have just taken delivery of a Nakamura twin spindle, twin turret state of the art CNC machine tool. Our production machinery is backed up by a range of manual machines for producing small volume parts and prototypes for research and development work.
At BiS, quality is of paramount importance, and particular care is taken to ensure that the product is well finished, as well as dimensionally correct. Every batch of components is inspected by our quality department before it is released for assembly, or to the customer, ensuring we get it right first time.
